I love spring! Green grass, flowers blooming, warm sunshine pouring through my window, shedding bulky winter layers, and last minute seniors scurrying to get their pictures taken before graduation. On a Sunday afternoon, I met with such a senior, Akielia. Akielia, her mom, and I headed around Moberly to accomplish the task of completing her senior pictures. However, due to the fact that it was a cloudy day, it got dark outside quicker than expected. Therefore, the shoot got prolonged an extra day. Not that I’m complaining! My camera loved Akielia and couldn’t wait to meet with her a second time.
Checkout Akielia’s adorable skirt! Her mom told me she actually got all Akielia’s skirts at Claire’s for $6 or $7. I did not know Claire’s ever had any type of clothing, I thought it was mostly jewelry and hair accessories. But her skirts were super cute, made even better by their very inexpensive price!
Faves! As the day got darker I played with some different lighting that had a bit more of an edge. However, as previously mentioned we just ran out of light so this picture ends Day 1.
Beginning of Day 2 . . . . We headed to the local apple orchard. The sun actually came out this day, so we had plenty of time to finish the session.
Oh have I mentioned how truly in love with Akielia’s hair I am? I’m obsessed. I guess it’s like they say, “you always love what you can’t have.” Which is no lie because I know my hair could never ever look anything like this! Probably a good thing though, because I would never be able to pull it off like Akielia does!
We had forgotten the hat that goes with this outfit the time before, so we decided to have one more go!Oh Akielia you are just so beautiful! My camera and I truly fell in love with you! Take in and enjoy this last bit of your senior year, it’s going to fly by!
