It’s a day that no one can forget. . . I myself was in Mr. Martie’s social studies class when I discovered two planes had hit the world trade center towers 10 years ago. That whole hour my 8th grade class watched transfixed by the images displayed on the news, unable to completely comprehend the gravity of what had happened. . .
. . . Last Sunday marked the 10 year anniversary. And 10 years later I have a better, although maybe not a complete, understanding of the events and it’s effects of that day. Passing by the Moberly Area Community College, I couldn’t help but snap a photo of the huge flags honoring September 11, 2001 and all the many families whose lives where forever changed.
