I’m just exhilarated by the weather we’ve had in Missouri lately. The sun, warmth, and lack or rain has made me just plain giddy. Minus a horrible head cold I had to nurse myself through last week, I just feel super excited about everything. And oh-am-I-so-excited to show you Amy & Michael’s FANTABOULOUS (Yes I made this word up) October extravaganza! I know Amy has been waiting patiently for this preview so I won’t waste any more time. I was so excited by the beautiful light that awaited me at Amy’s parent house, where the girls decided to get ready. Not only was the lighting an excitement factor but Amy was an absolutely stunning bride!

While the girls were busy getting on their dresses and finishing last-min touches, this is what the guys were doing!

Then came the exciting part of the day . . . Amy & Michael’s first sight as Lions Park in Moberly.

Amy’s best friend, Teresa Banning (maid of honor), died a few years ago. Amy carried a charm of Teresa’s pic on her bridal bouquet through the entire day. Teresa’s maid of honor bouquet was presented to her mother after the ceremony. Now I’ve seen many moments at weddings that have made me want to cry, but this was the most heart-felt moment I have ever witnessed at a wedding, and had I not forced myself to just keep shooting I could have started bawling.

Brides if you are ever in need of a pretty exit and yet you don’t want to have the clean up, I know the perfect thing for you. These awesome streamers popped and there was an explosion of beautiful shimmery silver. However, once it was over the streamers were still attached to the popper so guests just rolled it up and threw them away.

After the ceremony guests headed to the Elk’s Lodge in Columbia, MO. Meanwhile the bride & groom and myself headed to Stephen’s Park in Columbia for a few last min shots.
