Steven & Aubrey: Kansas City, MO Engagement Photography

One of reasons I’m so glad I went to college at UCM, was that there I met my AWESOME friend Aubrey! We both lived on the 3rd floor of Fitzgerald hall and as she was also a photog major, we had several classes together! I was beyond ecstatic when Aubrey informed me she was engaged! My first thought was, “YAY,” and then, “is it really 7:00 in the morning?” Haha, what more awesome way to greet the new day, then finding out your friend is engaged!

One of the first things Aubrey told me after she revealed her engagement was that she wanted ME to take her engagement pictures! I was so honored, and more than excited to make a lil road trip to see my newly engaged friend & the new bling on her finger, but also to meet Steven! As I had only ever seen Steven in pictures on Facebook, I was so excited to get to know the person that makes Aubrey smile so big!

Steven by the way is a pretty talented guy! Check out his songs on itunes! In fact Aubrey & Steven met through music! Being a pretty talented vocalist herself, Aubrey was introduced to Steven when he was looking for someone to do some vocals for one of his songs! And thus their fairytale commenced!

Oh and how could I forget to mention Ruby! The star of our session! Doesn’t she look so fierce! haha Love ya Rubs! 

The March winds were in full force the day of our shoot, and they started to annoy Aubrey a tinsy bit! The picture on the right cracks me up! 

I just think they both look STUNNING in this pic!
