Back in January I held a booth at the Columbia, MO Super Wedding Show. One of the bride’s I met that day was the lovely, Brittney Jacaway. Brittney contacted me a couple weeks after the show and we met for coffee and consultation at a local Starbucks. Brittney came to the consultation, wedding binder in hand, and I knew this would be an organized bride who I immediately fell in love with.
Now Brittney’s fiance Paul just graduated from MU with a degree in engineering. With a job offer in Washington near Seattle, Brittney recently contacted me to see if I could get their engagement session done before the couple moves at the end of June. We found a date that worked for all three of us, and started the e-session on the MU campus!
Brittney it just a tad shorter than Paul. While Brittney is right under five feet, Paul is nearer to the six foot line on the measuring stick. However, I think their height difference is just one of the many things that make Paul & Brittney one of my favorite couples.
Back in Brittney & Paul’s freshman year of college, Brittney made Paul kiss her over the engineering clover. A tradition that says you will end up marrying that person. Guess it must be true.
I couldn’t decide color or black & white
This furry little creature was just sitting here minding his own business.
Finally, we decided to move off campus. So we drove a super long distance of about four blocks and hit the downtown Columbia scene.
This last picture is actually one of my faves!
Paul & Brittney, I hope you enjoy your last couple weeks here in good old missouri, and that the move goes well. Might I add I’m a tad jealous your moving to a place so well known for all their coffee houses. . . mmmmm. But, I will see you both back here in December were we can celebrate your big day together! Until then . . .
