Every couple has a different story! Some are sweet and simple, some big and complex, some a mixture of both. But I think that’s one of the things I love most about weddings. Even though you often see many of the same traditions (white dress, diamond ring, father walking the bride down the aisle) there is always something unique to each wedding, and each couple has a different story about how they came to be!
Jessica & John’s (don’t remember them check out their E-session) story started with a chance meeting at the Lake of the Ozarks about five years ago. John was living in Cinncinati and Jessie in Moberly so they stayed in touch and eventually started a long distance relationship that blossomed into a husband and wife kind of thing! 🙂 So when deciding on a location for their wedding -Jessica being from Moberly, MO, John origanlly from Iowa, and them both currently living in Cinncinati, OH- Jessica and John decided to get married where it all began, at the Lake!!!
I love her bling! One of my favorite rings EVER! Note to my future husband (wherever and whoever he may be) – I like this one!!!! haha
OH Jessie – WOWZA you make one HOT Bride!
My friend and fellow photog Whitney Barker was along to help me for the day, and she captured the guys. I think they kept her entertained!
First Sight time . . .
We took some pictures of Just Jessica and John around the Lodge of the Four Seasons. The Lodge is where the couple got ready and later had the reception. But John is a hard-core golf fanatic so it was off to the golf course for some more photo fun with the whole wedding party!
After pictures everyone had some downtime to relax and gear up for the ceremony at Lake Ozark Christian Church!
After the ceremony the guests headed back to the Lodge for a cocktail hour while the wedding party and parents stopped at the Blue Herron for some champagne, fun, and a few more photos, of course.
Somehow I got to have my own personal hairstylist. Audry, the flower girl and bride’s niece, thought I needed a new hairdo I guess. 🙂
The reception was sure to satisfy anyone with a sweet tooth!
After the traditional reception events were completed, it was PARTY TIME!!!!!! There was never an empty spot on the dancefloor!
Jessie & John Thank you so much for making me a part of your day! Your wedding was Spectacular. I hope you had an AMAZING day and enjoyed your honeymoon in Hawaii!!!!!
